I think that the mission and vision statements provide a short-term as well as a long-term vision to employees, managers, customers, and stakeholders as to how each one of the employees, managers, customers, and stakeholders would be able to work together and derive satisfaction from the activities in which they get involved into. The customers can get influenced by reading the mission and vision statements and can buy more from the companies whose mission and vision statements are easily comprehensible and understandable.
